The Campania Region at TTG 2025: food and wine tourism as an economic and cultural driver
The Campania Region will take center stage at TTG Travel Experience 2025, scheduled from October 8 to 10 at the Rimini Expo Centre, with the project “Praesentia. Taste of Campania. Divine” – a series of eight events that weave together tradition, innovation, and conviviality. It’s a journey through the region’s flavors that define its identity, enhancing experiential tourism and reinforcing Campania’s reputation as a top-tier destination.
The preview will be held on October 7 at the Grand Hotel Rimini during TTG’s Luxury Event, where Campania will showcase its gastronomic excellence to international luxury tourism operators. The evening will feature two-Michelin-starred chef Gennaro Esposito, joined by a team of Campanian chefs, for a tasting experience that bridges the past and future of flavor.
In 2024, the Luxury Event hosted over 1,400 business meetings in a single day, confirming its role as a key platform for the premium segment. With “Praesentia,” the Region reaffirms its commitment to investing in high-quality tourism that blends luxury with responsibility, highlighting hospitality and solidarity.
According to the Isnart Observatory, 24.6% of tourists choose Campania for food and wine-related reasons, second only to its artistic heritage (37.1%). This data confirms food and wine tourism as a strategic lever for economic and cultural growth.
Campania TTG 2025: authentic flavors and cultural tourism across iconic destinations
The Praesentia project spans the entire region – from Portici to Padula, from Naples to the Phlegraean Fields – with tastings, show cooking, and music. Themes include the Mediterranean Diet,
buffalo mozzarella, wine, extra virgin olive oil, the Annurca apple…
and the art of Neapolitan pizza-making, recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
“Praesentia represents an extraordinary opportunity to strengthen Campania’s tourism identity,” says Felice Casucci, Regional Tourism Councillor, “by promoting local products as symbols of international appeal”.
According to Alessandro Fimiani, Commissioner of the Campania Tourism Agency, “Campania presents itself as a land that nourishes, welcomes, and inspires, offering authentic and inclusive experiences”.
Praesentia events are free and open to the public while seats last, with reservations available at www.praesentiacampania.it. A sensory journey that celebrates taste, art, and hospitality, confirming Campania as a destination to be experienced with all five senses.
