Nina Ganci è una stilista americana che da oltre vent’anni progetta e produce le sue creazioni in un atelier situato nel centro italiano della cittadina di St.Louis (Mo).
E’ diventata nota per aver ideato i maglioni per i principali protagonisti del film MATRIX, i suoi modelli sono semplici e “on the edge”. Il nome della sua azienda è:
Skif International. Solo un nome ma in certi ambienti è diventato un cult. Questa mostra è una collezione che si sviluppa su due piani narranti: l’evoluzione di Skif International strettamente legato a Bibliothè nata da un’amicizia durante il periodo della scuola elementare in continua crescita con amore e rispetto da quarant’anni.
Le influenze di questa relazione sono ancora evidenti nelle imprese e nello stile di vita di entrambe.
“Abbiamo sviluppato insieme il nostro stile personale e la direzione delle nostre vite, abbiamo disegnato la sua realizzazione ed espansione. Infine il nostro successo è il numero di amici che abbiamo con cui giocare. Questa mostra è una rappresentazione dei momenti catturati nelle riviste, negli schizzi e nelle foto che promuovono uno stile di vita, una gioiosa libertà che noi chiamiamo “Happy Circle Of Skif”.

Nina Ganci owns a clothing company in the U S A since more than 20 years. All design and manufacturing in house located in the Italian center of the town St. Louis (Mo).
Famous for making the sweaters for the main characters in the movie Matrix, the designs are on the edge and so simple. The name of the company is Skif International.
Just a name but in certain circles it is recognizable cult status. This show is a repertoire of 2 dimensional sheets showing the evolution of this business that is closely connected to Bibliothè. With a friendship that started in grammar school and continues to grow in love and respect now for 40 years. Still influences of our relationship are evident in our endeavors and style.

This show is a visual representation of the moments that are captured in magazine adds, sketches and photos from promoting a lifestyle, joyful freedom for everyone we call “Happy Circle Of Skif”

1991 ha partecipato come unica rappresentante per gli Stati Uniti per il Onward Kashiyama Fashion Grand Prix
1992 ha frequentato il tirocinio con Martin Margiela
1994 ha fondato Skif International in St. Louis
