2015, May 2, Milan. “Here’s Pizza & Pasta,” a dream come true. A combination known throughout the world that could not miss certain appeal of Expo Milano 2015 … pizza and pasta are in fact two flags of the Mediterranean diet, mainstay of our diet as well as intangible cultural heritage recognized by Unesco. And Friday, May 1, with the official opening of the Expo, was successfully inaugurated the space of restoration of the Italian Pavilion, the restaurant’s “Ecco Pizza&Pasta”, precisely. The occasional rain swing has certainly not deterred the thousands of Italian and foreign tourists who have made a stop at “Ecco”, a few steps from the Italian Pavilion and the Tree of Life, attracted by the smell of pizza and other dishes of excellence regional cuisine from all over Italy, primarily the Region Campania. Over a thousand pizzas out on the first day of the two wood-fired ovens, the classic “Margherita“, Queen of all, and the many varieties proposals, and more than a thousand dishes of pasta ordered, with the lasagna among the most popular, accompanied by blonde fresh beers and other drinks including cappuccinos, beloved especially by the Japanese. Last but not least, highly popular, the legendary “Neapolitan sfogliatella“.
UNION OF TWO ITALIAN EXCELLENCE …
Ecco Pizza&Pasta is a project of Giuseppe Esposito of EP SpA and Vincenzo Borrelli of Sire Receptions d’Autore Srl, two Neapolitan entrepreneurs united by passion and love of good food, which have faced with great enthusiasm and commitment to this important challenge globally. Behind the success of the opening day’s tireless staff of seventy people, including 14 pizza makers, strictly Neapolitan, 10 cooks and of course the watchful eye of the two entrepreneurs Giuseppe and Vincenzo, who will ensure every day that everything always proceed in the best way.
From small catering company family, over the years, the EP SpA has now become a company with three major divisions – Catering, Food Stamps and Main Events – more than 1,000 employees and a presence throughout the Italy. “Today is the time of the challenge – said Giuseppe Esposito – Today is the time when we must all Italians come out of this crisis, with our companies, with our creativity. The time is right, let us trust of Italy, let us trust in ourselves and go forward“.

The Sire Group has operated for over twenty years in the catering and banqueting hotel and events.
